Halloween
1 November 2007
It was Halloween last night. I was talking to some work colleagues today, and it appears that children from some parts of town were certainly more motivated than others. We only saw only one group of children at our house - albeit very well dressed - while children from other parts of town obviously made a real attempt, with lots of groups knocking at the door.
New Zealand has an advantage over many parts of the world in that we are heading in to summer, which means that it is still light when the Trick and Treaters are going door to door. However, it is good to see that many parents still tag along behind their offspring to make sure that they don't get into trouble - or create too much mischief!
