The Eighties Flashback

I bought myself some Christmas presents today - DVDs featuring Dire Straits, Paul Simon and Hot Chocolate. Gee the eighties were good to us! All those poppy, sing-along songs with lyrics that you could actually hear.
Bon Jovi is coming to Christchurch next year. I won't be going (Bon Jovi was good, but not good enough for me to go to the concert), but lots of people from work are going. Elton John was in New Zealand recently but didn't come to Christchurch. Elton is someone that I certainly would have seen if he was in town.
