Darn Colds

Autumn has certainly arrived in New Zealand, and along with the colder weather comes the inevitable colds. I now have my second major cold in the past month. The trouble with working in an open plan office is that colds are passed on so easily.
When you get a bad cold, is it right to take a sick day? On the one hand, it is only a cold! Yes, you will make it through the day without dying. But on the other hand, you feel so grotty in the process! I chose to go to work and regretted it by the time lunchtime came around. I'm sure my work colleagues regretted it too my constant nose blowing!
Next time, I might just take the day off.
